Than...Best article on this topic so far, 12/19/19. Thanks. I have a 96 Kawasaki 650 KLX. The decompression release mechanism weld failed and it is no longer on the end of the exhaust cam. Another article said get a LiFePO4 battery and it would start without decompression. It will start and run with the Shorai battery. Your charge state chart is very usfull, Thanks.
